Michael Marfell-Jones today started this subject in the Campus of Los Dolores, which is offered for the first time, in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences.
In it the human body is studied through the measurements, and will be taught by Dr. Francisco Esparza.
The students of the fourth course of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences of the Campus of Cartagena of the UCAM have begun the classes of the subject of Cineanthropometry, a technique that studies the human body through the morphological dimensions, taught by the co-director of the the only International Chair in this subject, the secretary of the International Society of Cineanthropometry Francisco Esparza.
Michael Marfell-Jones, who is also the co-director of the aforementioned chair, has participated in the presentation course of the course, which was attended by the president of the prestigious society, which brings together over 12,000 specialists from all over the world (ISAK) of the Catholic University San Antonio.
The UCAM is the only university in the Region that offers to train in Cineanthropometry as an optional subject of the fourth course of CAFD, and that from this course is offered in the campus of Cartagena, where students can learn this discipline that studies the human body through measures and evaluations of their size, shape, proportionality, composition, biological maturation and body functions in order to understand the processes involved in growth, exercise, nutrition and sports performance.
