The administrative building of San Miguel has hosted this morning a new meeting of the Recruitment Table of the City of Cartagena under the chairmanship of the councilman of Finance, Contracting and Patrimony, Isabel Garcia.
During the session, the Bureau has made the proposal for the award of the project for the adaptation of the Castillo de la Atalaya and its surroundings.
Phase I, to the company Andrés Mendoza e Hijos SL, for an amount of 40,818 euros + VAT.
This action is part of the Participatory Budgets 2017, driven by the Delegations of Participation and Finance, to give voice to the neighbors in the destination of more than 1.5 million euros of municipal budgets.
The main purpose of the project is to carry out the necessary actions to protect the fortress and its surroundings by means of cleaning work in general, removal of equipment and organic material, clearing of weeds and vegetation and cleaning of the castle in all its rooms and surroundings.
Likewise, collections of loose architectural elements and consolidation of deteriorated structures will be realized, by means of shoring and fences, avoiding the collapse of the same ones.
The holes in canvases and flanks open by vandalism will also be covered with wood, without all these works involving an intervention of restoration of the Property of Cultural Interest.
It should be remembered that, since 2016, Castillo de la Atalaya is owned by the City Council, following the assignment of the Ministry of Finance managed by José López, in his powers in the Mayor's Office of Cartagena.
HUERTO URBANO AND VIVERO MUNICIPAL
Likewise, the Bureau has determined to propose the award of the supply and installation of electrical equipment, video surveillance and communications from the urban orchard and municipal nursery to Montajes Eléctricos Luna SL, for 15,405.45 euros (VAT included).
These services are considered basic for the proper functioning of this facility that will be located in the surroundings of Nueva Cartagena.
This contract is one of the investments planned in the framework of the Sustainable Investment Plan of the City of Cartagena 'ISA Plan', which will allocate 3.2 million euros for different works in the municipality.
OTHER PATRIMONY AGREEMENTS AND RECORDS
On the other hand, the Contracting Bureau has awarded the supply of floats for Christmas and Reyes 2017-2018 to Iñaki Becerra SL, for 60,258 euros (VAT included).
Finally, two dossiers of the unit of Patrimony have been approached.
On the one hand, the proposed award for the occupation and operation of the canteen of the Local Social of San Isidro to Ana Belén Martínez Ibáñez, sole bidder, having to be ratified this award during the next Governing Board.
Likewise, the occupation and operation of the canteen in the Local Social of the neighborhood Cuatro Santos has had the participation of four bidders.
The opening of technical proposals will take place during the next Bureau.
