On the occasion of Mayor's Day, held every year on October 3, the Councilor for Social Services, Carmen Martín, received today Wednesday, October 4, a group of 180 elderly blind users of ONCE.
During the visit, the mayor accompanied the group, headed by the president of the Territorial Council of ONCE in the Region of Murcia, Teresa Lajarín, for the main dependencies of the Consistorial Palace.
"Today we are facing a new generation of older people that has nothing to do with those of 20 or 30 years ago," he said, while emphasizing that they are "updated people, full of motivations and concerns."
