The Municipal School of Theater continues to grow, and this year will have the collaboration of the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena, which will cede a space for rehearsals.
The expansion of spaces was announced by the Councilor for Culture of the City of Cartagena, David Martinez at the opening ceremony of the 2017/2018 course at the Cultural Center Ramon Alonso Luzzy, another space with which will continue to count the school for their rehearsals.
In the opening ceremony of the course, which also involved the teachers of the School, the council encouraged the parents to target the youngest to theater classes, an activity that helps develop self-esteem and improve social skills that children will need in their future.
He also showed his joy at the growth in the number of students in the school, which already has 2 groups for young people, and more than 200 students among all groups.
