This Sunday October 8, and as part of the activities organized on the occasion of the European Mobility Week, Cartagena will celebrate Bicycle Day with a Bicicletada!
which, leaving at 11 in the morning from the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, will travel 10 kilometers through the city center.
The Councilor for Sports, Ricardo Segado, has been in charge of presenting the event, which has a marked solidarity, since the benefits of this bike race (1 euro per dorsal and 3 euros for the shirts), will go to the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC).
And along with Segado, the coordinator of the event, Alejandro Sagarduy, and Nazarena Balaguer representing the AECC in Cartagena.
Segado has wanted to emphasize the social involvement of this type of events, which try to unite sport and health, while also thanked the collaboration of the Sustainable Development Area next to the Quality of Life Area, the support of the Department of Sports, the MoviliCT collective, the UPCT, the Culture and Patrimony Area, the Chamber of Commerce, the Port Authority, the Spanish Association Against Cancer, the Federation of Neighborhood Associations, and groups such as the Federation of Troops and Legions, Con Bike, Bicue, Free Way, Association Rascasa, Tadpoles, College of Graduates in Physical Education, Sports Clubs and companies of the sector of the bicycle.

The inscriptions can be made in the Pavilion Central Wssell of Guimbarda and specialized shops in Cycling.
