The athletes of the UCAM Quarry Athletics Cartagena demonstrate with their presence in the Championship of Spain Cadet of clubs the good health of the bases of the equipment of athletics of the trimilenaria.
The men have qualified for the final A (the best 8 national teams) to play in Castellón on Saturday 7 October, the girls have qualified for the final B (from 9 to 16) to play in Valladolid, the same day.
The technical director of the club Patricia Paz stated that this is an unprecedented event in the athletics of Cartagena and of course in the Region, it is undoubtedly due to the excellent technical work of the two technical managers Tońi López and Gabi Lorente and support coaches ".

In addition, both president and technical director point out that they are in the process of renewing licenses for the following season and despite not being able to compete economically with teams of the same sports category, the equipment made with base athletes, subsidiaries and some novelty can be expected to compete again with guarantees in the 2017/2018 season that will begin on November 1st.
