The City of Cartagena commemorates on Tuesday October 3 the International Day of Older People with a series of events to be held throughout the afternoon and which will include the Councilor for the Area of ​​Quality of Life, Francisco Calderón, the mayor of Social Services, Carmen Martín, and the coordinator of Social Services, Damián Pérez.
Thus, at 17.30 hours a manifesto will be read at the gates of the Palace Hall, and then at 18.00 hours, there will be an event in honor of the greatest centenaries of the municipality, in the Aula de Cultura de la Fundación Caja Mediterráneo, on Calle Mayor.
In total, there are five major Carthaginians who have reached the age of 100, of whom two will attend the homage, while the other three, who will not be able to attend given their state of health, will receive in their homes the visit of the councilors.
