The councilor of the area of ​​Quality of Life and president of the Joint Commission of Health, Francisco Calderón, has moved this morning to the hospital of Santa Lucía to maintain a meeting with the manager of the area of ​​Health II, José Sedes, and the chiefs of service of the management.
On the part of the Consistory, was also assisted by a representative of the legal counsel, María Encarnación Larrosa, in charge of studying the possible breach of Law 3/2016, of March 21, for the full operation of the Santa María del Rosell hospital as general Hospital.
LAW OF THE ROSELL
This has been the main issue throughout the event.
Thus, different measures taken to comply with the law, which have been demanded by Quality of Life and by the Joint Health Commission, have been reviewed.
Issues such as the implementation of a management structure of Santa María del Rosell Hospital, to respect the provisions of Law 3/2016, of March 21, which considers the health center as General Hospital.
It will consist of a managing director, a medical director, a director of nursing, and a director of management and social services.
Similarly, the reserved item of 1.2 million euros has been reported for the expansion of personnel and the commissioning of all the unused operating theaters in the Hospital del Rosell.
Of this form, to the 10 existing in Santa Lucia, it would have to be added another 12 of the Hospital located in the Walk Alfonso XIII.
This would make it possible to carry out interventions in the morning and afternoon.
In relation to the Primary Care Emergency Service (SUAP), there has been a deepening of the need to centralize it in the Virgen de la Caridad Oeste 'El Parchís' health center, as well as the maintenance of a mobile unit in Santa María del Hospital Rosell.
SECOND PHASE OF THE SAN ANTÓN HEALTH CENTER
In another vein, Calderón has been informed of the completion of the mandatory technical and legal reports that have analyzed possible reckless casualties in the bidding process for the works of the second phase of the Anton Health Center.
After this process, the final adjudication should be carried out to allow the resumption of the construction of the sanitary infrastructure after more than a decade of delays.
These works are expected to begin during the month of November.
MENTAL HEALTH
Finally, the idea of ​​the regional government to establish a single management with competencies in Mental Health, which, in turn, delegated functions in the different areas of Health of the Region, has been treated.
In the middle of this matter, the activation of the mental health care facility of the Santa María del Rosell hospital is being studied in the medium term.
