The regional government condemns the murder of a woman who happened today in the Deputation of Canteras.

The victim, a 20-year-old girl, was not a member of the centers of the Regional Network of Specialized Care Centers for Victims of Gender Violence (CAVI Network), under the Family and Equal Opportunities Department.

The regional executive recalls the importance of promoting equality between men and women, and work on awareness and prevention of this type of aggression.

The Government of Murcia also encourages victims to report any form of physical or psychological violence.
