The Local Coordinating Table against Gender Violence is already advancing in the First Plan against violence against women.
Thus, today, Monday, September 25, the Bureau has held a meeting in which representatives of all the agents involved have been present and has been chaired by the Councilor for Equality, David Martinez, in order to seek proposals and contributions to fight against gender violence.
The purpose of these meetings is to receive as much input as possible to enrich this plan and to be as effective as possible.
For the moment, explained the mayor of Equality, this is a draft in which have worked the technicians of the council that runs David Martinez.
"Now we are in that moment in which everyone participates to improve," he said.
Once received the contributions of the Bureau, this text will be studied in the Equality Council to work there and, from there, will be taken to plenary for approval.
"We are seeing all the measures that we must carry out from the City Council and those that we must demand from the rest of Administrations in order to be able to put an end to this scourge that is machismo," Martinez said.
Thus, the draft includes actions and objectives to try to achieve zero violence and zero machismo.
