Juan Pedro Torralba, the acting mayor and member of the Citizen Participation and Good Governance Government, has called on representatives of neighborhood associations, youth, cultural, sports, women, elderly, mothers and fathers municipality to present the new participatory budgets, whose process of explanation and debate will be developed in the coming weeks.
The general assembly with the associative movement will be held on Tuesday, September 26, at 6:30 pm at the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center.
The participatory budgets for 2018 will double their departure from last year and will amount to two million euros, while they will have a more fair and equitable distribution system by districts, taking into account the economic situation of the area, the number of inhabitants, the lack of Neighborhood Board and the fact that they had not received any action in the previous year.
During the assembly will also be presented the new website that has been launched to offer in a simple and accessible way all the information about the process, which wants to obtain the maximum degree of citizen participation.
