During the first weekend of the festivals of Carthaginians and Romans, both sides have represented some of the key moments in the history of the city that would lead to the Second Punic War.

On Saturday, September 16, the Carthaginians staged the founding of the city of Qart-Hadast in a representation that tells the story of the Barca family every year since the death of the patriarch, Hamilcar, until the founding of Qart-Hadast by his successor and son-in-law, General Asdrúbal, in the year 227 a.
