This Sunday was held in Cartagena a day of exhibition and cycling race organized by the Club Ciclista Cartagena, which had the collaboration of the city council through the Department of Sports, which involved teams from all over the region and neighboring areas .
The day started with a competitive test of the category Cadet that was disputed in an urban circuit arranged in the Alameda de San Antón, of two kilometers of route, to which the athletes had to give 25 returns to culminate a distance of 50 kilometers.
This activity was held prior to the XXVII Cyclothurist March of Carthaginians and Romans, which will be celebrated this Sunday 24 and which is part of the historic celebrations of the port city, which this year they have declared International Tourist Interest.
At the end of the race, trophies were awarded for the top teams, the flying goals and the best team.
The events were attended by the Councilor for Sports, Ricardo Segado.
The day also featured an exhibition of sports schools in which boys and girls participated in the first and second year categories of promises, beginners, juveniles and second-year children.
