The technology-based company EMITE Ingeniería, created by the researcher of the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena (UPCT) David Sánchez, in cooperation with the US multinational Spirent Communications, shows this week at the Mobile World Congress of San Francisco the first laboratory machine capable to replace the expensive external behavior tests of a 4G network, extendable to 5G, and thus ensure its successful deployment.
The system, already used in Australia, has been described as revolutionary in the sector, since for the first time allows to evaluate the behavior of different mobile phones in a real network but with measures in laboratory that incorporate parameters and real measures in that network , which allows its optimization prior to deployment.
The US multinational Spirent has indicated that it is proud to be part of the new proposal of EMITE as it fills a gap in the mobile communications market that until now nobody knew how to cover.
David Sánchez, founder of EMITE, has indicated that the results are incredibly precise and repetitive, opening the door to a new era for the deployment of 4G and 5G networks.
The EMITE presentation has captured the sights of the World Mobile Congress, which is taking place this week in San Francisco, USA.
EMITE has already participated in the world's first tests to test the performance of Advanced LTE technology wirelessly transmitting data at 600 megabits per second (Mbps), a world record speed that multiplies by 30 the capacities of the current high mobile spectrum.
EMITE, which is already present in many countries in Europe, Asia and North America, has just opened to the Australian market and only a few months ago it opened its headquarters in China.
