The Councilor for Finance and Patrimony, Isabel García, has signed, on behalf of the City of Cartagena, the agreement with the Federation of Troops and Legions of Carthaginians and Romans that temporarily cedes the use of more than 12,000 m2 of the Partial Plan Rambla with a view to the installation of the Fair during the holidays.
Previously the mercantile owners of this space, 'Emasa, Empresa Constructora SA', 'Cartagena Parque SA' and 'General de Galleries Comerciales SAU' had also transferred these lands to the City of Cartagena for free of the Federation of Troops and Legions, destined to a preferential use of the same by the feriantes of the Region of Cartagena.
Thus, the purpose of this assignment is to enable the celebration of the Fair of Carthaginians and Romans.
The Councilor for Finance has indicated that the municipal government, in the line of transparency marked as a way of working, has wanted to make public this agreement, while working on being able to tender next year the award of the Fair.
The celebrations of Carthaginians and Romans, declared of International Tourist Interest, will take place in our city from Friday 15 of September to Sunday 24 of September.
