Approved the extension of RED hours of Local Police, Fire Brigades and Brigades The proposal of the councilman of Personnel, Francisco Aznar, was endorsed yesterday by the trade unions UGT, CC OO and SIME, and obtained the vote against SPLRM-CSIF (14/09/2017)

On Wednesday, September 13, the Commission for the Monitoring of RED hours held a meeting in which the Councilor for Personnel and Public Safety, Francisco Aznar, and the unions UGT, CC OO, SIME and SPLRM-CSIF participated in the meeting. which approved the extension of the hours of Special Availability Regime of Local Police, Fire Brigades and Brigades.

Specifically, the proposal includes an increase, from now to the end of the year, of 9,000 hours for Local Police, 15,000 for Firefighters and 18,000 for Municipal Brigades.

The initiative of the mayor of Personnel was seconded by unions UGT, CC OO and SIME, and obtained the vote against SPLRM-CESIF.

As Francisco Aznar said in the municipal plenary session, this increase in RED hours has a cost of around one million euros.
