Next Saturday September 30, the deadline for requesting free actions by users of DTT for the possible damages caused by the 4G nodes in the 800 MHz band that are produced with the installation of a new antenna of 4G telephony.
And, the works that will allow the start-up in Cartagena of the 4th Generation mobile service (4G in the 800 MHz band) can affect the reception of Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT).
In order to guarantee that the service of the base stations of mobile telephony does not affect DTT, the entity 'Llega800', which carries out the technical actions necessary in the reception facilities of the DTT users.
These actions are free of charge for affected citizens, within six months of the date of commissioning of mobile telephone stations.
After this deadline has passed since the stations were turned on in their municipality, September 30 was set as the deadline for resolving incidents in the DTT reception at no cost to citizens who require it.
This way, affected users will be able to solve the possible interferences without cost, requesting it through the telephone of attention free of charge 900 833 999 or in the web page www.llega800.es.
In the future, in the municipality, new mobile telephone base stations could be switched on in the 800 MHz band, if operators deemed it necessary to improve this service.
In that case it would be reopened a new period of six months from the date of ignition to attend free of charge any possible incidents that could be re-produced.
