The twentieth edition of the Crono pocket sports calendar has already arrived.
On Tuesday, September 12, Cartagena Councilman for Sports, Ricardo Segado, and coordinator of the volume, Pedro Caparrós, presented the Crono of the 2017/2018 season, which details the calendars and competitions of a total of 14 Cartagena sports teams such as football, indoor soccer, handball, table tennis, volleyball or basketball.
The schedule includes, with a reduced size that facilitates its use and transportation, all meetings of the main Cartagena teams, images, information about their templates and data on the rivals to beat by FC Cartagena in the Second Division B of the League of Football and Plastics Romero in the First Division of the National Futsal League.
"We can consider the Crono and a historic calendar of the sport of Cartagena," said Segado, who stressed that "the sport of Cartagena would be much less understood if we had to interrupt this collection" that counts this year with a circulation of 7,000 copies, with the collaboration of the Council of Sports of the City of Cartagena, Troféos Collado, the center attached to the University of Murcia ISEN, service stations BP, Cabisuar SA and Equidesa.
Thus, explained the coordinator of the calendar, will distribute more pocket calendars, completely free of charge, in municipal sports facilities such as Estadio Cartagonova and the Central Pavilion during sports matches to be held during this weekend.
In addition, explained the Councilor for Sports, information on the competitions that will be played by the most representative teams of the municipality as Cartagena FC, Cartagena Rompers Plena, UCAM Cartagena Men's and Women's table tennis, Algar Sur Menor in the Women's Superleague 2 of Volleyball, Playas and Cartagena in the First National Division of the Men's Volleyball League, Basket Cartagena in the EBA League or the Minerva Deportiva in their male and female categories.
On the other hand, Caparrós thanked the involvement and support of the participating clubs, the City of Cartagena and the collaborators who have made possible the edition of this sports calendar for 20 years.
He recalled that "it is the teams that enter and leave the calendar based on their results" and has highlighted the Preferential Category or the Third Football Division, with three teams from Cartagena in each of the categories.
Finally, Ricardo Segado thanked the coordinating team of Crono "his work, effort, affection and enthusiasm so that this calendar continues to go out to the sporting society of Cartagena" and to the sponsors "that are from the first day and have been added to that the calendar continues to come to light. "
