The students of the schools Asdrúbal, Our Lady of the Sea and Hannibal have started the course this morning celebrating the I March 'Vuelta al cole'.

A festive event, part of the campaign of the Education Department 'Every day without fail', which has had the musical and theatrical animation of Drums Killo and La Murga.

Teachers and students have left their respective schools and finished in the institute Santa Lucia.

Throughout the course, which has participated the delegate councilor of Education, David Martinez, and the Councilor for Social Services, Carmen Martín, have been heard different slogans against absenteeism.

Upon arrival at the institute, students participated in a series of activities and games led by the three actors who headed the three courses.

Before finishing, children and teachers have danced a choreography of the Zumba de Lo Campano Group.

The event ended with the intervention of the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, who has taken the stage with the delegate councilor for Social Services and Social Mediation, and the councilor delegate of Education and Culture.

Castejón has invited to raise a boy and a girl to whom he has asked different questions so that they were the ones who explained with their answers the importance of going to school every day, doing homework and training.

She has also joked that she will be the one who is aware and check that they are not missing, even going to their homes.

"I have noticed that the campaign is under way, and they are clear that the right to receive an education is also an obligation, and I am sure that in a few years when they become older, tell them, "said the mayor, who thanked the great work that is done from the councils of Education and Social Services to address this problem from the bottom.

For his part Martinez has been very happy with the mood and the atmosphere that has lived in this march.

"We are going to try to continue lowering the level of absenteeism that is just above 1% and we have the objective of reducing it to 0, that there is no need to open a file for absenteeism," he said.
