Local Police officers arrested a 23-year-old man yesterday as the alleged perpetrator of the robbery inside a vehicle in the San Ginés neighborhood.
Officials rushed to the scene about 16:45 hours after receiving notice from their Base of 092, which warned about the events.
The subject, after realizing the police presence, undertook the flight and had to be persecuted.
He was finally detained in the vicinity of the Health Center of the Virgen de la Caridad neighborhood, known as El Parchís, and was transferred to police stations to instruct police investigations.
CRIME AGAINST ROAD SAFETY
On the other hand, in the morning of yesterday, agents of the Local Police of Cartagena proceeded to the arrest of a 20-year-old man as alleged perpetrator of a crime against road safety.
The individual was driving a vehicle through the streets of Barrio Peral when he was stopped by the agents, who, on finding that he had no driving license, was arrested and police investigations were conducted.
CYCLOMOTOR THEFT
Agents of the Local Police of Cartagena destined to Citizen Security stopped in the early hours of Monday to Tuesday the driver of a moped that supposedly had stolen.
The individual, a minor, was intercepted by a police unit at 3:30 am, committing traffic violations in the Fuente Cubas area.
The driver of the vehicle was transferred to police units to instruct police investigations, taking care of the minor a relative after being informed of the alleged criminal acts.
The owner of the vehicle was located and informed of the recovery of the same.
