On the occasion of the beginning of classes in the primary schools of the municipality tomorrow, Friday September 8, and next week the secondary and vocational training centers, the Local Police of Cartagena will launch the reinforcement device for control and surveillance in schools during the school period.
A total of 62 agents will be allocated daily to control the entry and exit of educational centers, taking into account road safety and the population and organizational ratio of the workforce.
From the Local Police, it is important to remember that it is of vital importance for the parents and mothers who go with their children to school, that all the rules of road safety are followed, always following the instructions of the agents in charge of the traffic surveillance.
In this regard the following road safety tips are offered:
Avoid parking in double row, garage door and public transportation stops.
Do not go in time, and plan your journeys.
Always follow the instructions of local police officers.
Do not forget to always fasten the seat belt, and the smallest always with its Child Retention System.
Sharing a vehicle is a good option.
When crossing the street, always do it by the pedestrian crossing, and always with the green light of the traffic light.
