The councilor of the area of ​​Quality of Life, Francisco Calderón, before the imminence of the meeting of the Joint Commission on Health that will take place on Tuesday, September 5, starting at 6 pm in the Palace Hall, recalled the purpose of the session, which will be to transfer the neighborhood claims arising from the problems arising from the "lack of staff and the failures of provision of the Murcian Health Service in the areas of Health II and VIII, the most disadvantaged when it comes time for interventions surgical and intervention of specialists ".
"Our City Council, along with the rest of the Comarca, will demand a meeting with the Health Minister (Manuel Villegas) to explain why historically, areas II and VIII have always been the most harmed," he said. mayor.
This will be the main issue to be discussed at tomorrow's meeting, which will deal specifically with the conclusions reached during the summer and the measures to be taken.
The appointment is based on the numerous neighborhood claims received during the summer in the different clinics in the area, which advises the development of a new roadmap that serves as a starting point for the final solution.
The area of ​​Health II is integrated by the municipalities of Cartagena, La Unión, Fuente Álamo and Mazarrón, while area VIII includes Los Alcázares, San Javier, San Pedro del Pinatar and Torre Pacheco.
