I will have attended 95 percent of the plenary sessions of the neighborhood meetings that have been held in Cartagena since I joined the Municipal Corporation as councilor-spokesperson for the Municipal Citizens' Group in May 2015. On one of those rare occasions when I could not attend, the exalcalde of Cartagena, José López, who, on the other hand, I have never seen in a full neighborhood, went to Perin on August 18 and listened what happened there has made me feel embarrassed, embarrassed, embarrassed and deeply disgusted.

I will not deny that you have that virtue so common in political populism of knowing how to manipulate the audience, even through lying and infamy.

What really worries us is that it uses the collective of public workers and places them on a defensive barricade when some opposition party criticizes its decisions (not the work of our officials), when you have been the first to have attacked them when he was interested, as he did with the last municipal intervener, Juan Ángel Ferrer, or with that complaint against which he was general secretary of the Plenary, Inés Castillo, or for the way in which he dismissed the Chief of Staff, Jose Serrano, or when he provoked the resignation of Manuel Asensio Montilla as head of the Local Police after publicly questioning his management.
What is serious, in short, is that it devotes itself to sowing the seed of hatred in Cartagena society where it goes without knowing, apparently, how dangerous it is to inoculate that virus in citizenship;
I just hope that we never have to regret a disgrace for that irresponsible way of doing politics.
And it is that the Carthaginians not only have to endure that a person charged in a corruption case as you continue to collect from the public treasury or continue directing the Department of Sustainable Development (and you asking for resignations for the same right and wrong, what contradiction and hypocrisy, right?), but we also have to suffer a person who is not able to reach any port because wherever you tread does not grow grass.
And while the media circuses that it rides follow, the Monte de las Casillas continues to consolidate and threaten the integrity and possessions of the residents of El Portús.
Of course, nothing and nobody will prevent me or my Municipal Group from continuing to demand a definitive solution for El Portús and continue working for and for the Cartagena, for that we are paid.
