The date of one of the most important dates of the 'running calendar' in Cartagena: the XVI Cross of Artillery, to be held on November 19, Sunday, organized as always by the Artillery Cross Sport Association in collaboration with the Anti-aircraft Artillery Regiment No. 73 and the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena.
Therefore, the registration deadline will open this Friday, September 1st.
As usual, the Cross of Artillery is divided into different tests according to the distance to be covered, the age and the categories of the participants, such as: the Lighthouse Race, which has a distance of 14 kilometers;
The Urban Cross, of 6 kilometers;
The Canicross, of 5 kilometers;
The Mile, for young people between 10 and 14 years old;
And the Fourth Mile, for children under 9 years.
Thus, depending on the category and the distance in which each athlete wishes to participate, registration costs have been established, which will increase as the deadlines increase and the race's race date gets closer.
Thus, to participate in the Fourth Mile or the Mile will have to pay 5 euros in September, 6 in October and 7 if the registration is formalized in November;
With the same deadlines, in the case of Canicross and Cross Urban will have to pay 8 euros, 10 and 12 respectively;
And in the case of the star test, the Carrera del Faro, will be 10 euros, 12 and 14 depending on the phase in which the registration takes place.
Those people who want to compete in this test can register from this Friday September 1 at 9:00 p.m. to November 10 th through the website www.crossdelaartilleria.com or also in person at El Corte Inglés de Cartagena, in The Customer Service Department.
It should be noted that since the organization of the race, it is noted that the total number of seats in the XVI Cross Artillery will be 5,000 participants, so that as the quota is completed for each of the tests will be closed the inscriptions For them.
This restriction is intended to guarantee the safety of the athletes both at the time of departure and during the development of the competition.
