On the occasion of the celebrations of Carthaginians and Romans, where the History of Carthage Nova is revived, to be held this year from 15 to 24 September in Cartagena, the Roman Theater Museum in collaboration with Cartagena, Puerto de Culturas, launches The family activity 'Scipio versus Hannibal', which will begin this Saturday, September 2.
This activity allows the participants to know the most relevant events of the Second Punic War and its protagonists, Hannibal and Scipio, as well as one of the most emblematic buildings of the city, the Roman theater, which rose in the time of Augustus.
Thus, the children will be part of a troop or a legion and celebrate the triumph in the Roman Theater of Cartagena, dressed in clothing of the time that will be given to participants in the same museum.
The activity, which will include a visit to the Museum and the Theater, is aimed at families and children between 6 and 12 years old, and will take place on Saturdays in September at 11.00 hours, with a price of 4 euros.
In addition, this Saturday night will enjoy the nightly theatrical visit 'Aulaeum, down the curtain', in which the Roman architect Vitruvius will offer the participants his vision of the most emblematic work promoted by Augustus in Carthago Nova.
The end of the trip culminates with the appearance of the imposing stage of the Roman Theater in the light of the moon, where the audience will meet again with the classical theater of the hand of Plautus.
The activity, which will begin at 21.00 hours, will be priced at 12 euros.
