The mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, visited this past weekend the popular parties of the neighborhood of Lo Campano, which have recovered after twelve years without being celebrated.
Castejón, accompanied by the Councilor of Celebrations, Juan Pedro Torralba, was with the neighbors who have encouraged their recovery and showed their support and satisfaction for the great work they are doing in the neighborhood.
The joint work of the Council of Festivities of the City of Cartagena with cultural associations such as Rascasa, Lo Campano Cultural Sport or the Women's Association Fina Espinosa and the Association of Neighbors Lo Campano, has led to these festivals are retaken to encourage the streets Of the neighborhood this end of August.
The events began on Friday 25th August with a Gymkana of games organized by Rascasa for the little ones.
At 22:00 there was a zumba show, and at 11:00 pm the group 'Los Sirocos' gave a concert during the night of verbena.
On Saturday after 21:00 there were popular games to start the Party Night with music and bingo.
On Sunday as a big feast day, the flamenco painting 'Alma Pura' was performed at night, with singing, dancing and playing.
At the end of the performance, around midnight, a fireworks castle was launched, which put an end to this 2017 edition.
