The Real Club de Regatas de Cartagena, which has the collaboration of the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena, won Saturday the third place in the classification by clubs of the II Championship of Spain Dragon Boat, held the town of Trasona in Asturias .
The first position was for the UCAM-Pinatarense Sports Association, followed by the UCAM-Mar Menor Canoeing School.
The competition, organized by the Asturian Canoeing Federation and the Asturias Dragon Boat Club, took place over a distance of 500 meters in a straight line in a race course set in the Trasona reservoir.
The Cartagena expedition, formed by 36 palistas, competed in seven of the nine categories of this championship, making clear its good level and promising future projection.
