This morning, Palacio Molina has hosted the protocol signing of the collaboration agreements between the City of Cartagena and two cultural entities of the municipality, 'Cartagena de mi Alma' and the 'Cultural Recreation Society Casino of Cartagena'.
The promoter of both agreements, the councilman of the area of ​​Culture and Heritage, Ricardo Segado, has initialed the agreements with representatives of the aforementioned cultural associations.
At first, the firm has signed the cultural association 'Cartagena de Mi Alma', which has been attended by its president, José Antonio Pérez.
Subsequently, the same protocol has been followed with the 'Casino Cultural Recreation Society of Cartagena', personalized in its president, Joaquín Ortega.
The agreements signed today are the result of two agreements adopted by the Local Government Board.
In the case of the cultural association 'Cartagena de Mi Alma', during the session held on June 16, while in the case of the 'Casino Cultural Recreation Society of Cartagena', the agreement was dated July 7.

The agreement includes an expenditure of six thousand euros as a subsidy for the development of the activities organized by the cultural association 'Cartagena de Mi Alma' in 2017.
For its part, the cultural entity is committed to participate in the organization of the 'Fall Modernist', a municipal initiative to remember the enormous relevance that this era has had in Cartagena today.
Likewise, it will collaborate in those activities that the Consistory designs for the diffusion of the modernist patrimony.
After the signing, the mayor praised the involvement of the association in highlighting "past times that made Cartagena very large." CULTURAL RECREATIVE SOCIETY CASINO DE CARTAGENA
On the other hand, the agreement with the 'Casino Cultural Recreation Society of Cartagena' establishes an economic sum of ten thousand euros, divided in this and the following year.
This agreement converges the objectives of both entities, as the Casino de Cartagena regularly develops activities for its partners, such as conferences, concerts or exhibitions, programming that, in many cases, are open to the general public.
Before this, the head of Culture and Heritage said that the agreement comes after a process of "search for synergies and collaborations between the City and the association."
The mayor has emphasized the emblematic seat of the entity (Casa Tilly, S.XVIII), as well as the content of the agreement that will allow the local institution to use the building.
The agreement establishes, as is the case with 'Cartagena de Mi Alma', that the City Council will be responsible for disseminating the cultural programming of the Casino through its media, also contemplating the use of urban furniture and other media to disseminate the activities.
For its part, the Casino commits itself to opening the building for two days a month, providing the necessary resources to facilitate the guided tour of the groups organized by the Consistory.
Likewise, the City Council will have its facilities for possible events at least ten dates a year.
This, for conferences, exhibitions, projections or other cultural events, especially those related to the dissemination of Historical Heritage.
Finally, the Casino will be responsible for maintaining and caring for harmony in all elements of the building, both inside and outside, layout of furniture, signage, signage, etc.
