Last Saturday, August 12, in the municipal facilities of the Playa Paraíso sports complex, the III Acuatlon and Cross were held at the Playa Paraiso Sunset.
A total of 185 athletes from all over Spain (89 in Acuatlón and 96 in Cross) competed throughout the day in this corner of the Mar Menor, offering a great sporting spectacle that came to witness residents and vacationers.
The Acuatlon test, which consisted of 4 kilometers of running and 800 meters of swimming, was the victory for Mateo Pesquer of the Mandarache Athletics Club, with a time of 26'41 minutes.
He was accompanied on the podium Guillermo Martín, Triathlon Cartagena, and Alfonso Madera, Triathlon Clavería Móstoles.
In the Cross at Sunset, of 5 kilometers of route, Fulgencio Angosto won the competition with a time of 16'01 minutes.
In second place was Roberto Prieto and third place Salvador Sánchez.
