The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, visited on Thursday the exhibition of the work done by members of the Neighborhood Association of Quarries and the local lace makers.
A visit was made on the day dedicated to women during the holidays this year in the village.
In the exhibition, housed in the social hall, Castejón was able to learn from the authors' mouths, the work behind dresses, embroidery and handicrafts that have been elaborated in the various workshops organized by the Association.
At the end of the visit the neighbors of the village presented the mayor with some pieces of handicraft.
After the visit the mayor had the opportunity to meet with the hostesses on the terrace of the social place where they shared a snack.
