The Councilor for Sustainable Development, José López, and the Councilor for Sports, Ricardo Segado, visited this morning the works of artificial grass installation on the football grounds of the neighborhoods Virgen de la Caridad and José María de Lapuerta.

For its part, the construction of the artificial turf football field in the Virgen de la Caridad neighborhood was awarded to the European Transport Company of Campo de Cartagena SL (TRECARSA), for an amount of 148,959.81 euros, 43.13% Bidding budget (261,930.38 euros).
In the coming months will be carried out new actions for the installation of artificial turf in different fields of municipal ownership.
In particular, La Palma, La Aljorra and El Albujón will have artificial grass on the surfaces that until now were land, being three of the projects chosen by the neighbors in the pilot experience of 'Participative Budgets' of the City of Cartagena.
