One of the classic sporting events of the summer, the Playa Carabela Trophy, reaches its 46th edition with a protagonist, player Miki Roqué, prematurely deceased after participating in the promotion of FC Cartagena to Second A during the 2008/2009 season.
Now, both the team, their team and the city council on behalf of the city, will pay tribute just before the celebration of the meeting between Cartagena and Albacete Balompié, which will be held on Silver Carabela on Wednesday 9 August, to From 9 pm, at the Estadio Municipal Cartagonova.
This was announced during the presentation on Thursday of the sporting event, which included the mayoress, Ana Belén Castejón, Councilor for Sports, Ricardo Segado, and the president of FC Cartagena, Francisco Belmonte.
The act of homage, which will consist of putting the name of Miki Roqué to one of the access doors to Estadio Cartagonova, specifically door 2-22 of Grandstand, will be at 19.30 hours and, as announced the Edil de Deportes, will also be used to show the installation of a lifting platform in the side tier, to facilitate access for people with physical disabilities or mobility problems.
Do not end there the news, as it will also inaugurate the new and shop and reformed FC Cartagena offices in the municipal stadium, and the team will release the new equipment.
Tickets for the match between FC Cartagena and Albacete Balompié will be free for subscribers and children up to 5 years old.
General admission for adults costs 10 euros, in Tribuna Alta, and 5 euros in Tribuna Baja, Lateral and Fondo.
