For the second consecutive year, the Sustainable Development Area has set up the necessary infrastructures for the implementation of 'Calblanque 4:40', the coordinated initiative between the Town Council and the Ministry of Water, Agriculture and Environment for the adaptation of a parking Deterrent in Los Belones, intermediate step for later access to the beaches of Calblanque by means of a bus service.
The first Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Sustainable Development, José López, was on Wednesday in Los Belones to show his support for this action in which the municipal collaboration consists of the adequacy of the parking, providing urinals, in addition to taking charge of the service Of trash and cleaning.
In the same way, it has made available the municipal space that is in the Mount of the Ashes to guarantee the communications.
Along these lines, José López, accompanied by the general coordinator of Sustainable Development, Jesus Giménez, encouraged Cartagena and use the parking and sustainable access mode that will be enabled until next September 10, thus contributing to objectives such as reduction Of dust emission, improved air quality, and more accessible for emergency services, among other benefits.
Improvement in street lighting
Subsequently, the head of Sustainable Development held a meeting with representatives of different groups of Los Belones.
Among them, the president of the Association of Neighbors, Mariano Almagro, with whom he has reviewed the municipal project, still under development, and which will aim at improving public lighting in Paseo Alarcón and Calle Coral de Fuego in Cabo Of Palos, as well as in the Floreras street and in the section of the bridge on the highway RM-12 of Los Belones.
