Researchers and students of the Agronomists and Architecture schools of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) have registered more than 8,000 trees in the historic city center.
This work is part of the actions of the Chair of Municipal Infrastructures City Council of Cartagena-UPCT financed by the Sustainable Development Area.
A book collects in one hundred pages, the more than 80 species of trees that citizens can contemplate as they pass through gardens, parks and streets.
The book is the result of the work carried out during the year 2016 in the line of work on Green Infrastructure and Landscaping, one of the six lines of work of the Chair, and will be presented by the Councilor for the Sustainable Development Area, José López, in the Huerto de las Bolas garden on Monday, July 27 at 10:00 am.
