The Finance Department, headed by Isabel Garcia, reminds residents that on Monday, August 7, the deadline for the payment in a voluntary period of receipts corresponding to Real Estate Taxes (IBI) of urban, rustic nature and special characteristics .
That same day will be the expiration for the receipts of the taxi stops, and the rates for collection of garbage and sewage of La Manga, corresponding to the dwellings.
Remind the neighbors who have opted for the direct debit to be sure to have balance in the accounts that have been the object of the same.
This issue is particularly important, since in the hypothetical case of not having sufficient balance, the collection will be made through the executive procedure, with the accrual of the corresponding surcharges.
As this year is the first time that the last day of the period is waiting to take charge of the domiciliations and to avoid this issue, a first charge of domiciled will be issued on July 31.
In this way, those who do not have a balance, will have a new opportunity until August 7, date on which the receipt will be reloaded.
Thus, it is intended to avoid that those taxpayers who incur in default go to the executive period.
Other liabilities
Similarly, it should be remembered that the City Council continues to charge the fee for occupying the public domain with night stands, tables and chairs.
This payment period ends on September 5th.
For this year the surcharge for awnings, umbrellas or any other element of flight has been completely suppressed.
Previously, the surcharge was 35%;
In 2016 was reduced to 15%, being eliminated for the current year.
Benefits of direct debit
The domiciliation of the taxes is a comfortable option that allows the taxpayer to be free of the reception of possible payment notices, as well as any surcharges or other increases of the amounts to be paid.
It also affects time savings by avoiding travel, since the OAGRC grants the possibility to domicile the payment of any of the taxes through its Electronic Headquarters.
For the domiciliation of any receipt, the corresponding form must be completed, a process that can be performed from this link.
Receipts domiciled will be processed in accordance with the procedure established by the Higher Banking Council and will be valid for an indefinite period of time until they are annulled by the interested party, rejected by the depository or the Municipal Administration expressly provides for invalidity for justified reasons.

To facilitate payment, the OAGRC offers a direct link so that the taxpayer can comfortably download the receipts to be satisfied.
You can make the payment in the offices, ATMs and in the electronic banking services of any of the collaborating entities.
In the same way, you can pay the amount by credit or debit card at the Electronic Office of the agency.
The bank card can be paid, in a voluntary period, of all taxes charged to the OAGRC.
The only requirements are to hold the title of a card and have a digital certificate or the data of the receipt to be paid.
