With less than two months of life the new executive of the Neighborhood Association of San Antón meets with councilor Pilar Marcos to present the program of actions they want to launch in the neighborhood.
For them, it is a priority to work for all the neighbors and neighbors attending mainly the social needs that are many in a neighborhood very abandoned during years of municipal management.
Not only urbanism and infrastructures have a leading role in San Antón, intercultural coexistence, together with attention to the serious social situations that many neighbors live in the neighborhood, are valued as priority objectives when starting activities and services.
From CTSSP we have transferred to the neighbors and neighbors of the new executive that for our group the attention of the most abandoned districts and councils of the municipality is a priority, so that point two of the agreement with the government for the investiture of Ana Belen Castejón as mayor of Cartagena clearly includes the implementation of "comprehensive plans for action", a point called "PLAN FOR IMPROVEMENTS FOR DISTRICTS AND DIPUTATIONS", which includes the neighborhood of San Antón.
At the last meeting with the government to follow up on the agreement of the 40 points, the PSOE and MC groups committed to carry out a study, to be delivered in September, of the actions already carried out in the neighborhood and those that could be undertaken By the end of 2017, including the budget that would apply for these actions.
In the same way our group has asked the Neighborhood Association of San Antón to provide us with a dossier with the actions they consider most urgent and important to do in the neighborhood.
Said dossier will provide us at the end of August so that our group can raise it to the next meeting with the municipal government.
