The Master Voleyball Tournament La Manga-UPCT, celebrates this year its ninth edition paying tribute to one of its players at the Gustavo Fortea Memorial I, organizer of the event and passed away last November.
This was announced by the Councilor for Sports, Ricardo Segado, during the presentation Friday of the sporting event, where he was accompanied by the vice-rector of the UPCT, Sergio Amat;
The director of the Master Volleyball, Angel Modia;
Javi Mecca, organizer of the event, and Isidoro Martínez, representative of Primi Sport.
The winch will be played on the beach of the Stag Island of the Mar Menor, in the beach bar Lebeche, on August 5 and 6, from 10:30 am Saturday to Sunday afternoon.
The councilor, who thanked the organizers for joining in to energize the Cartagena coast through sport inviting nationals and foreigners to spend these days in La Manga and its surroundings, recalled that the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena is at Side of the sport and we are coordinating efforts with the organization to guarantee the success of the test and an unforgettable sports weekend for the participants and their companions.
Also note that an Inclusive Tournament will take place on Saturday 5 in the morning, which will be attended by 15 boys from the Primisport CD, along with beach volleyball professionals such as Javi Meca, Pedro Miralles and Víctor Jumilla, among others.
In total, 83 couples will fight for the 9th La Manga Volleyball Masters Tournament, in the different stages of bronze, silver and gold in which the championship is divided.
