The public universities of the Region have today thanked the National Police of Cartagena for their collaboration in the Summer Scientific Campuses that have been developed throughout the month of July at the Polytechnic of Cartagena.
Institutional officials at Campus Mare Nostrum have transmitted to Ignacio del Olmo, the commissary of Cartagena, the recognition of the university community to the Scientific Police Brigade, for their involvement and collaboration in the project "The scientific resolution of crimes: the importance of Forensic Sciences ", in which have participated 120 students of 4 ° of ESO and 1 ° of Bachillerato of all Spain.
The rector of the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena, Alejandro Díaz, expressed his thanks to Commissioner Ignacio del Olmo, on behalf of Campus Mare Nostrum.
Thanks to the work of the agents of the Scientific Police Brigade, the students - all of them with excellent records - have been able to carry out activities of lofoscópica identification, of fingerprints, and approach to a real environment, that remembers to the one of CSI.
Díaz emphasized that "it is one more thing that the Polytechnic University carries out in collaboration with the National Police of Cartagena".
