The first deputy mayor and responsible for the area of ​​Sustainable Development, José López, accompanied by Heritage Councilor, Isabel Garcia, held a meeting today with the president and vice president of the Association of Entrepreneurs of the Los Camachos Industrial Estate, Antonio Betancor And Luis Antonio Navarro, respectively, and the president of the Conservation Institution of the Los Camachos Industrial Estate, Carmen Barriendo.

During the meeting, which was also attended by the general coordinator of Sustainable Development, Jesus Giménez, and municipal technicians, two issues have been addressed as a priority: the establishment of a collaboration agreement between the City of Cartagena and the Association of Entrepreneurs of the Polígono Industrial Los Camachos, on the one hand, and the coordination of the maintenance services of the Los Camachos Industrial Estate, on the other.

With regard to the first issue, progress has been made in the drafting of a collaboration agreement between the City of Cartagena and the Association of Entrepreneurs of the Los Camachos Industrial Estate, to promote the promotion of economic activity and, in particular, to advance In the implementation of the Regional Logistics Activity Zone, according to business demand, the commitment of the current municipal government and the feasibility reports that for fifteen years have advised the implementation of this infrastructure.

The agreement for this year 2017 will contemplate the beginning of the municipal collaboration with the Association of Employers so that it and, in the future, other representatives of the local business, will settle and have permanent headquarters in the ship of Contentpolis, recovered last year to The municipal heritage.

Likewise, the agreement will include in its Monitoring Committee the participation of the Conservation Institution of the Los Camachos Industrial Estate and a municipal technician in the area of ​​Sustainable Development to coordinate the efforts and work together in the improvement and maintenance of the Industrial Park.

In this line, since today, has begun to work to optimize resources and contribute to the economic activity of Los Camachos.
