The first deputy mayor and responsible for the area of ​​Sustainable Development, José López, held a meeting today with the president of the Neighborhood Association of Barrio Peral, Eduardo Martinez, as well as other members of the board, who Has explained the next execution of works of conditioning of sidewalks in Barrio Peral, project that also contemplates a performance in San Felix.
Interested companies have until August 1 to submit their bids to this contract, with the bidding budget at 93,509.07 euros.
Specifically, this project includes the paving of several sections of Ulloa, Calatayud, Aliaga and Arcos de Jalón streets in Barrio Peral and Almunia Street in San Félix, very busy roads.
It should be remembered that Ulloa Street hosts the Barrio Peral Health Center and is close to a shopping center.
Likewise, Calatayud, Aliaga and Arcos de Jalón streets are in front of the aforementioned sanitary establishment, while Almunia street gives access to the school of San Félix, which causes an important daily traffic.
In addition to paving, in these streets of the Barrio Peralse will carry out a separation between the road traffic and the pedestrian and increase the width of the sidewalks to benefit accessibility, acting in this direction in the street Ulloa in the final stretch, while That in the streets Calatayud, Aliaga and Arcos de Jaén in one side.
Meanwhile, in the street Almunia de San Félix, the section of access to the school will be considered as mixed traffic, being made a separation of the traffic rolled of the pedestrian, being signalized with different colors at the same level.
Commitment to neighborhoods and councils
During his tour, José López has transmitted to the neighborhood representatives the streets of Barrio Peral that are part of the project for the replacement of asphalting in the municipality.
Specifically, it is Submarino street, as well as the section between the road Peral and Cartagena de Indias.
Barrio Peral is included in this asphalted project, promoted by Sustainable Development, which includes about 40 performances in different districts and councils of the municipality, and whose global budget reaches 514,537, 57 euros, forming part of the announced sustainable investments of the townhall.
