Staff of the Fire Extinguishing Service and Rescue (SEIS) of Cartagena participated this Sunday, July 23, in the rescue of a person trapped inside a vehicle after a traffic accident in El Albujón.
The events took place in the provincial deputation at around 1340 hours, when the emergency number 112 received the notice that a tourism had hit a street lamp frontally and a person was trapped inside.
To the place they moved firemen of Cartagena next to agents of Civil Guard and an ambulance of the Service Murcian of Health (SMS).
Once there, the vehicle was deconstructed and the victim was removed, who presented with traumatic and cranioencephalic trauma.
RESCUE OF A SENDERISTA
Firefighters also participated at noon on Sunday, between 14.00 and 16.00 hours, in the rescue of a hiker who had suffered a heat stroke in the GR-92, between El Portús and El Aguilar.
The man, 66, managed to get to a nearby cove with the help of a partner.
Once there he was rescued by a pneumatic firefighter Cartagena.
