On the other hand, Ana Belén Castejón has celebrated that an agreement has been reached with the regional government to increase by one million euros the expenditure of Social Services, which support the municipalities of the Region despite being outside their powers, although Recalled that this was an insufficient amount.
In terms of energy poverty, the ordinary meeting of the FMRM has begun the process to sign an agreement with the Autonomous Community and companies supplying gas, water and electricity, to prevent supply cuts to families in situations of social vulnerability .
Finally, the FMRM has approved a resolution for municipalities to include social clauses in the specifications.
"This is a very important measure in which the City of Cartagena has been a pioneer since the beginning of this legislature," explained Castejón.
