Local Police of Cartagena located in the afternoon of this Tuesday, July 18, a presumed extreme right group in the city center of port city.
Thus, they are five individuals who carried a preconstitutional flag and that were entangled in an argument with several passers-by in the Greater street.
The events happened around 19.20 hours, when agents detected the presence of the group.
The prompt action of the Local Police, which isolated these individuals and identified three of them, probably prevented the situation from leading to something more serious.
The subjects arrived until the Town Hall Square watched a few meters by members of the Local Police and National Police, who had been warned by local agents.
In that place, where a large audience gathered for a concert of the Festival La Mar de Músicas, the flag was confiscated and minutes later appeared in one of the nearby litter bins an extensible knife, a very dangerous and prohibited weapon.
Although it was not possible to identify the individual who carried it, from the Local Police it has been considered that it is no accident the appearance of this weapon in the place, so that the police intervention probably avoided more dangerous situations.
