The Council of Government has approved, at the proposal of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, the signing of the addendum for 2017 to the agreement signed in 2015 between the Ministry of Education Culture and Sport and Defense and six autonomous communities (Aragon, Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla-Leon, Galicia, Madrid and Murcia) to teach vocational training in military schools.
In the case of the Region of Murcia determine the lessons that are taught in 2017 and until the end of the course 2017/18 in the School of Marine Infantry of Cartagena, which correspond to the higher grade cycle of 'Assistance to the Directorate ', whose teaching staff is provided by the Community.
It also establishes the remuneration of these teachers, as well as the manner in which the Ministry of Defense will take charge of them.
The agreement allows to continue the collaboration between the Community and Defense, which began with the signing of the first agreement in 2012, and which has led the Marine Corps School to have civilian teachers qualified to impart this training cycle, belonging to the Teaching bodies of secondary teachers and technical vocational teachers of the specialties of Business Administration, English, French and Administrative Management Processes.
In this way, it is encouraged to complete the general and specific military training of non-commissioned officers with the technical training corresponding to a higher-level vocational qualification.
