Citizens has registered an initiative in the Regional Assembly in which it has requested the realization of a program of action and rehabilitation of the Rubio House of El Algar that allows to recover this building for its putting in cultural value.

Juan José Molina, regional deputy of Citizens, has highlighted that the Casa Rubio "is an emblematic building that has witnessed the history of the deputation during the XX century and that has become one of its architectural symbols."

In this sense, Molina has referred to the fact that the building, which was built in 1895 by merchant and provincial deputy Antonio Rubio Albaladejo, and that between 1930 and 1970 housed the public school "is currently very deteriorated due to the neglect of the Different administrations, which has caused that the residents of El Algar have insistently requested that the pertinent actions be carried out for their rehabilitation and valorization.
