The Association of Neighbors of Los Urrutias has prepared for this summer an extensive program of parties, in which the Council of Festivities of the City of Cartagena collaborates.
The program started on Saturday, July 1 and will run until Tuesday, August 15, on all weekends between the two dates.
The performances, dances and nights of theater will happen from that day, during which the proclamation took place, the reading of which was carried out by Fernando Matas, followed by the performance of the Duo Minerva.
Also, on Friday 14 there was a sardine in the Sports Center.
The big day was Sunday, July 16, with the celebration of the patron saint of the town, the Virgen del Carmen.
The day began very early with a touch of flowered target in charge of the Band of Cornets, Drums and Gaitas Virgen de Los Llanos de El Algar and continued with the solemn mass and the offering of flowers, in which accompanied the Choir Rondalla El Algar .
Later in the afternoon, he continued with the procession, by land and sea, which was attended by the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, and the delegate of Social Services and Social Mediation, Carmen Martín del Amor, and night arrived Took place the performance of María José Lorente.
The festivities continue and a 'Children's Day' has also been prepared, which will be on Sunday, 6 August.
The celebrations will conclude, taking advantage of the bridge of August, with the stellar performance of the Calatrava Brothers on Monday the 14th at 11:00 p.m. and the Grand Gala of the Spanish Song in which the Maribel Castillo concert will be celebrated to close the festivities Tuesday 15th at 11:00 p.m.
