'Discovering the Modernism Year in Cartagena-Youth Programs' is the K1 Action Project of the Erasmus + Youth in Action Program, which European volunteers Apostolos, Flora and Carola have carried out from the Youth Council of the City of Cartagena, a Program that is characterized by its methods in non-formal education and in which they have covered different actions at socio-cultural and educational level.
Thus, Apostolos, a native of Greece, has developed his EVS project in the Local Social of José María de la Puerta, developing activities in the Book Botika.
Flora, of France, will collaborate in the Implica2 Program and the Mandarache Prize.
For its part, Carola, who comes from Italy, worked with the Bolsa Idiomas Program (linguistic exchanges, socio-cultural activities ...) and with the ESN (Erasmus Student Network) university association.
Regarding his collaboration with the different municipal projects and programs, the Youth Area Councilor, Ricardo Segado, thanked the European Volunteers' involvement in their nine months of the European Voluntary Service Project (EVS) on Wednesday, July 12, in Cartagena
EVS is part of the Erasmus + Youth in Action Program, funded by the European Commission.
The Young Area of ​​the Youth Department of Cartagena, as coordinating, sending and hosting entity, is responsible for informing, helping and processing everything necessary so that any young person, not only from Cartagena but throughout the Region of Murcia, can Participate in this program.
In the EVS, any young person between the ages of 18 and 30 can participate, as long as they live in a member country of the European Union.
Young people with fewer opportunities, including young people with disabilities, can also be actively involved in this program.
