The Department of Agriculture of the City of Cartagena, directed by Obdulia Gómez, has managed to have four rural roads in the Cartagena countryside included in the Regional Plan for Rural Roads 2014-2020 for their adaptation.
"We have entered the second call which means that we will arrange 18 kilometers of paths that will greatly increase our rural tourism offer, which is increasingly demanded," said the Councilor for Tourism and Agriculture, Obdulia Gómez.
The roads that will be fixed are those of Bocas de Cañar-Casas Tallante (9,090 meters);
The Sevillas-Cruce de los Simones (2,428 meters);
Sale Seca-Lo Montero (4,577 meters) and Los Cañavates-Los Marines (1,921 meters).
The Rural Development Program (RDP) of Murcia for the period 2014-2020 was approved by the European Commission and is carried out through direct investments of the Autonomous Community co-financed by the EAFRD funds.
"We have been many municipalities that have chosen this aid and we have covered all the requirements to get them," said Gomez.
