Miranda prepares for the celebrations in honor of its patron Santiago Apostol, with which the Council of Festivities of the City Council of Cartagena collaborates, in which the neighbors and visitors will be able to enjoy the gastronomy of the Field of Cartagena, concerts and verbenas every night , As well as sporting events such as ribbons, table games or the championship of a new sport little known in Spain: the Soft-Arrow.
On Friday, July 14 at 10:00 p.m., the lights of the Festival Hall will be turned on to welcome the proclamation, by the Commission.
Soon the bands will be imposed to the misses infantile and juveniles and from midnight the Trio First Line will liven up until the wee hours of the first night tonight.
The children's tapes will be held on Sunday 16 from 19:00 hours, and that same night at 22:00 there will be a music and playback contest.
Throughout the week, both the table football competition (Wednesday at 17:00 hours) and the table and card games championships will take place at the Casino (Thursday at 17:00 hours).
On Friday 21 from 19:00 hours will be held the Soft-Arrow Championship, a sport that consists of a team match in an enclosure with obstacles.
The contestants wear bows and arrows with the foam tip.

That same night, the start of the big holiday weekend, there will be a charity Rock Festival in which the groups Kessels and Alae Noctis will perform.
The collection of the night will go to the Diabetes Association of Cartagena and Comarca (Sodicar), and the Spanish Association against Cancer (AECC).
On Saturday will be held from 22:00 hours the Grand Fiesta Summer Party, which will install a giant pyramid of 14 meters.

At night, there will be a brotherhood dinner between the members of the peñas, after which awards will be given and the castle of fireworks at midnight to dismiss the festivities until next year.
