The Aula Empresa Innova Program, jointly developed by the Agency for Local Development and Employment of the City of Cartagena and the European Center and Innovation of Cartagena (CEEIC), began its activities in the first half of 2017 with a wide range of seminars aimed at entrepreneurs And entrepreneurs.
The aim of the seminars is to familiarize students with the concepts of innovation and to know not only innovation methodologies, but also tools to carry them out, which will allow them to learn how to develop innovative products and services.
"The economy and society change when the factors of production are combined in a novel way. Inventions and innovations are the key to economic growth and it is a challenge for entrepreneurs to implement this change in their projects in a practical way," said the mayor And president of the ADLE, Ana Belén Castejón.
In all, one hundred and eight people attended the eight seminars held in the CEEIC classrooms.
Thus, 27.00% of the attendees were women, while the remaining 73.00% were men;
And on the other hand, of the total assistance calculation, 59.00% were entrepreneurs and 41.00% were entrepreneurs consolidated.
The training structure of the Seminar series Aula Empresa Innova was presented in two large blocks of contents distributed in eight seminars, which were completely renewed, in order to readjust them to the economic situation of entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs.
The first of them, "The competences in innovation management", was developed from the 21 of March to the 25 of April;
Where participants learned to innovate in their SME, with objectives, strategy and work plan, knowing tools to identify innovation opportunities and learning to manage innovation to be able to lead in a competitive and globalized market.
The second block, which focused on "The new technologies 4.0 for SMEs", was held from May 2 to 23, showing the new possibilities of Virtual Environments for the business environment, drones applications for civil and commercial use, possibilities , Technology and applications of 3D printing in the business world, and finally Big Data for SMEs, as a growth opportunity for companies.
Since the launch of this initiative in 2009, around 106 seminars have been held in which 3,363 people have participated.
As for the profiles of those attending the workshops, 42% are usually women, while the remaining 57% are men.
On the other hand, 47% of the total attendance figures are usually entrepreneurs who intend to carry out a business idea and 53% are consolidated entrepreneurs who try to expand and update their knowledge in business management.
In all of the 121 training actions carried out, a business meeting and 14 technical meetings were also held.
For the second semester, new seminars on innovation management skills will be scheduled in October and November and new technologies 4.0 for SMEs.
